We employ experienced persons who are devoted to nurturing and educating young children within our Christian environment.
Personal references, a fingerprint background check, and clearance through the State’s Department of Human Services are all prerequisites for employment.
Our teachers hold college degrees in Elementary or Early Childhood Education and related fields, or a professional credential in Child Development. Our assistants have had formal education enhanced with their own life experiences as care givers or parents.
We believe in a well trained and knowledgeable staff. We provide paid opportunities regularly for staff to learn and collaborate with outside colleagues on the newest trends in our field. We maintain a professional resource library for referencing and planning. We supervise for safety and are also trained in First Aid, CPR, and Emergency Management.
Our program was accredited in April 2007, by the NAEYC Academy for Early Childhood Program Accreditation. We voluntarily underwent a self study and met Criteria for High Quality Early Childhood Programs, which we continue to model at our center.
We maintain low child-to-staff-ratios to observe and learn about each individual’s daily experience within the group setting.
We give personal attention to building trusting relationships with both child and family. We welcome a close partnership with parents to gain their insight and exchange news.
